Well we did end up finding a car! After trooping all over Adelaide, we found a car on the side of the highway that had a sign on it- took it for a drive and bought it. It’s kinda scary way to do things but…

It has taken John to work and back – so far, so good. It is quite economical to run so that’s definitely a bonus.

Miss A is still on the lookout for a little car but she isn’t in a hurry. She has up to $3000. to spend but doesn’t need a car ‘today’ so that’s always a better position to be in.

It’s great just to have a car again. I even managed to get a meal on the table – a real meal, of fresh vegetables! 😆 John says that buying the little bomb was all worth it. 🙄 Methinks he loves his food a little too much!

A few months ago our Ford needed some work totalling approx $2000-$3500 😯 Needess to say, it is still sitting under our house!
I lost a bit of weight walking everywhere 😎 and being a country town, everything is close by for us, but Summer is coming and it will be toooo hot!
Fortunately our son bought a beautiful car not long after ours went into hibernation 😉 and as he has a work vehicle Mumma gets to do her shopping in style!!
Cars are such a necessary ‘evil’ aren’t they?!!
