Organization is not in my nature. I am naturally a perfectionists at sloppiness. But God didn't save me to keep me the way I am. He is in the buisness of changing and transforming lives. He called me to homeschool. And a part of homeschooling is staying organized. Especially when you live in a small apartment with five. I have little ones so it is a round the clock job where you feel you spend most of your time in the kitchen cooking, feeding, and cleaning. My Husband is a huge help. I praise God. He is a perfectionists that color quardinates his cloths, He wont let me iron, and dose the laundry. We both pull the weight together as we ask for the Lord to be our strength. The bible says bear one anothers burdens and so fullfill the law of Christ. In a nutshell; God is my strength in these seasons. I barely have a moment to sit. But when I do I take alot of time to think share, ponder, pray, read, etc.

Love, and blessings from Cali.

I think anybody can be calm and serene when they come to realize that it's all ok. If you are happy with the state of your house, and your husband and children are happy, they why try to be different. Be yourself and be comfortable in your own home. It's supposed to be your sanctuary, not a big old chore. Just my opinion of course, that and a chunk of change will buy you a Coke....LOL!

Great post Susan. Will be in my Sunday links.

BTW, So far Heart at Home and Robin's Nest are my top picks for the new blog.

My Grandparents raised me for several years on a lake. They wrote "Robin's Roost" in the sidewalk near the boat dock. So I'm considering Robin's Roost too.

what do you think about "the ways of her household" from proverbs 31?

Thanks for all the great ideas.
