Hmmm, well I've varied the workouts a little- sometimes doing 45 min. I did some Billy Blanks workouts and they left me feeling a little spent so I lowered my workout level to 3 per week, until I get a little fitter.

20 mins four times a week is not pathetic. :)

If you start off working very hard you will just sit around exhausted for the rest of the day. It's much better to do a small, consistent amount and know that it won't take long and won't kill you, than to do a grueling workout and not want to do it again, or move off the couch for a week.

Have you tried putting your computer at a bench where you have to stand? Or using one of those balls that you have to balance on? Sure helps overcome the tendency to get comfy and just browse that extra bit longer...

Power on! You'll be fit before you know it. Think how grand you'll feel. Think of the mental lift. Stop reading my very boring comment and RUN to your treadmill (take a book) and 20 mins will be over before you know it. :D

You go girl! Contours is only 30 minutes a session and I try to go at least four times a week. Slow steady steps.........remember slow and steady wins the race!
Steve always reminds me that exercise (like anything else) has to be enjoyable so as to be sustainable. I am also trying to add some variety to my repertoire. Last week I went kayaking with Steve. I spent more time bobbing in the water, resting my weary arms, than paddling. When I did paddle I couldn't seem to stay on a straight line and ended up in intimate embraces with a few trees. I don't think Steve enjoyed my company!! LOL but I will keep at it as it is something else that I can do to keep fit.
Lets do this together!
