Y’know, I’ve been co-mod of CM&Friends-ANZ since the beginning and boy, was I full of energy back then! Quite a few of us were very AOish and we often talked and started planning our own Aussie version of AO. Well, we never quite got it done (what with homeschooling and all 😉 ) and now there’s nothing much left from it all to help others. 🙁 We did it all for our children but didn’t do a lot toward putting the plan on paper.

I regret that. Sometimes I also lament that I’m not as active on CM&F as I could be, as I used to be but it too, is a season of life. I assume you’ve seen the booklists that we did compile?

Do you follow/comment many Aussie HS Bloggers?

I guess you inspire me because you seem so full of energy. Sometimes I wonder if I am the only person committed to using Australian literature in my homeschool – it seems that the majority of my readership is American!!

Thanks Jeanne, and I hope you know the feeling is mutual. I think the work you do wrt Australianising AO is wonderful. Even if people aren’t going to strictly use CM’s methods you help and encourage others to dig deeper in rich literature and arts and all other worthy things. 🙂
