Chuck Missler may not be everyone's 'cup of tea'. Like anyone, he comes out with things that I don't agree with 100% however he offers excellent historical and cultural insight into biblical passages. He is one of a few scholars/theologins that I read and/or listen to.

He has a dry sense of humour and he is an excellent story teller, he has a pretty good grasp of language and he uses this to excite the reader; to draw them in and get them wanting to know more.

I think one needs to listen to the first 5 hours of teaching, at least, in order to see what picture he is painting in the introduction. His terminology is deliberate.

He expands upon history and culture- helping us to read the Old Testament like those for whom it was orignally written - the Jews. And let's face it- the Jews used some pretty amazing language. Reading the Bible can be very puzzling- much like you found in the intro. But don't stop there... dig in!

I'm writing this as I watch the first video, and he keeps talking about extraterestrials, being outside space time, and most concerning that we are a digital world within another dimention, talking about 10 dimentions and stuff...

I'm going to try keep watching, I know enough to weave through that, but for anyone giving this to a new christian, the first 10 minutes alone of the introduction video is quite confusing! I can't tell whether he is using them as metaphores, God is outside of our world therefor extra terrestrial, and the idea that heaven, not being on earth, is some other dimension. But for a new christian, with traditional understandings of those worlds, it sounds like he's basically saying the matrix is real!
