Oh susan, I bought Jessica that book and she adores it! I can't wait to get my hands on it
It is so true what you say. I thought the same thing when I wrote my post on "backslidden" christians (on my new upcoming blog!) There is no rhyme or reason!!! My father is a christian, my mum tried to live the life but failed in vain and my siblings are about as far removed from christianity as you can get. Oh wow! I have lots of questions for God when I reach the pearly gates  but by then they probably wont seem so important

Susan, this is very true. There is no recipe or fomula. We read recetly in church of Ahaz - very interesting.

I grew up in a non Christian home . My biggest influence ws books - many books gave me a picture of what family life could be, of how Christians have joy.

Leonie's last blog post..Three Feast Days - well, almost Four..

I have 3 sisters... we were not raised in a Christian family, as such, but our mother did send us to Sunday School (despite our protests!) Now that we are adults, 3 out of 4 of us are passionately following the Lord  This all happened in our adult lives. And, the one that is not a believer still has every chance of converting to Christ.
My parents certainly followed NO formula, except send us to and Anglican Sunday School ~ the power is in the gospel, not in forumulas  and praise God for that, lol!
