Hi Abba,
Yes, I know. The deactivation link is the link that fb actively recommends but the delete page is somewhat more difficult to find. But I found it. And I know they say that if you do not login for 14 days then your profile will be deleted, and that is great. (If they are to be believed 😉 )

They make it hard to access to truly delete it, and if you log in within 7 days it reinstates, but after that point it’s supposed to be completely deleted from the server, not just ‘hidden’.

No worries Pam, this information is so freely available yet I know that most fb users (and homeschool mums) don’t have the time nor inclination to scour the ‘net for it. I am interested in social media so it’s a bit of a hobby. Plus my own children are all on fb so I like to keep updated. It seems to me that a few hs mums like to be aware so I’ll keep posting.

P.S. I love the Think upon these things… blurb and photo that you have on the bottom of your blog.
