Hi Ganeida,
Yes my husband despises facebook and thinks it is a waste of time. I don’t think he understands it. He’s such a geek when it comes to computers and the Internet yet hates social media. He only listens to all the bad rap stories, I think. Mind you, he will wind down at the end of the day by playing Solitaire. What’s the difference between playing a game like that on a tablet or playing a game online with friends? Each to their own, eh?

My children’s security and privacy is set pretty high too. But I am so glad that I am on FB with them. We have taught them some valuable skills by being *with them* on FB, than if they had been on it alone or unsupervised.

I am friends with my FBing kiddos ~ not all of them use it. We like the FB games & help each other out with gifts & quests & that sort of thing but all of us have other focuses than FB. We all have fairly tight security on our settings ~ including Libby. My son says our time could be better utilised. True~ but he watches t.v or fishes for his down time. Some of us play games for ours. ☺
