In reply to <a href="https://simplysusan.com.au/wifey-wednesday-connecting-in-our-own-ways/#comment-1917">Nona Mills</a>.

Thanks Ganeida,
For some reason your comments, along with a few others, found their way into my spam folder and i've only just found them. I will look over the links you suggested and I thank you for your time in sending them to me. I also borrowed a book from the library (as much as I like Internet reading I love my books! ). The book is called The Quakers: A very short introduction, by Oxford Press. That too will give me a little info- to satisfy my curious nature. I appreciate that you call yourself a Christian (follower of Christ) first :) Blessings,

Susan: I have just found a comment you left on my meditative blog Out of the Silence, which I am in the process of moving to here: http://patmosvison.blogspot.com/ I apologise profusely but the comments didn't come through to me. Here is an Australian link: http://sa.quakers.org.au/index.php Compass interviewed a number of Quakers here: http://www.abc.net.au/compass/s955596.htm This explains well the diversity of belief & fellowship **http://www.quakerinfo.org/quakerism/beliefs.html*** this would be my link of choice. It should answer most of your questions. Here is a Plain Friend: :http://quakerjane.com/ Quaker belief & practice is experiential & covers a lot of ground. For clarity's sake I share I am a Christian first. How I worship & share my faith comes from a Quaker understanding of what it means to be Christian. Please feel free to e~mail me if you have questions or need clarity or a personal testimony. Blessings. Ganeida
