I have started playing “hanging with friends”, brought out by the same people who made “words with friends”. The girls were asking how it works. After a brief explanation, I offered to show them how to play it, but not on my phone.
The response?
“We don’t have that game on the computer anymore”.
Apparently it was on one of the old work computers that the girls used to play on. I explained that no, you can play it on paper, with a pencil (it’s just hangman).
” How could you possibly?!? ” was the staggered response of Miss-just-about-13.
I am now an old person who grew up when people played hangman on paper, and scrabble on a board with little moveable tiles. (cough. and the teacher used a blackboard.) 😉
Funny!
🙂
Oh my, what is this world coming to?
Ha! It reminds me of my latest favourit-ist picture book…. “It’s a book” by Lane Smith. I’m sure you’d get a kick out of it Susan. Have a great day.
That’s so funny.

Ha! I will have to show this one to my kids. The older I get the less I seem to know about computers!
