I’m confused.Β I just don’t get it.
Yesterday, we (Miss A and the bridesmaids) went shopping for bridesmaids dresses! Β It was a l-o-n-g day and we went all over the city but returned home empty-handed. Now Miss A is not difficult to please. She has a colour range in mind and a fairly good idea of the style she wants- classic and elegant. They style in mind will look lovely on the bridesmaids as they are tall and slender.
So why is it so hard?
In summer I can buy long dresses- maxi style. Ankle length.
But in winter most of the dresses are short. What’s with that?
Hmmmmmmmmm…….interesting development………maybe why people have to revert to getting them made! The cost though! Hmmm more searching required………one of the gals from church just ordered a Bridesmaid dress online???? Scarey?
Yup, Miss A is going to look at getting the dresses made and see if it is financially viable but with only 8 weeks to go, it is scary! Online? Sight unseen and untried? Ooohh, too scary.
Agreed, not enough time! I would not either…….did you just look in town? What about Unley Rd? May get something in a boutique shop….still prob cheaper than making……
We went to Marion, the city and a few suburbs. And we even went to bridal stores and formal wear stores. Will have to do some more homework, methinks. π
“Are we really so odd for wanting a long dress in the colder months?”
Well, yes I guess so!! π
But the good news is, there will be other odd balls out there who will actually supply long dresses for colder weather! You’ll find them Susan – you gals are resourceful homeschooling gals!
Boots!!!!!
It’s the boots. π
If you wear long dresses in winter, who would see your boots? π
