Oh, it’s SSSS time and I don’t have much to share. I haven’t been on the Internet much so that will be reflected in my SSSS…nevertheless, here goes!
As I recently posted about my own Internet habits, I was encouraged and given cause to reflect further when I read Jacqui’s post on Internet Dependancy

great links – thankyou! Everytime I come here there are so many great things to read ! I’ve been meaning to go to Bev Paine’s website for awhile – I’ve bookmarked it for another day. I think I need to dedicate a day for “visiting Susan’s blog” so I have time to look at all your links!!!! Bless you, Susan. Oh, I wanted to ask you something too. I’ve just discovered Ruth Beechick and I’m pretty excited. Do you have any experience with her approach? I’m just interested in your thoughts if you have the time…
Much love 🙂
Hi Chrissy,
Thanks for your comment! Oh Ruth Beechick. I don’t want to gush over another person but…I agree with, like, am encouraged, informed and blessed by just about everything that she has written! The 3 R’s are fantastic books as is You Can Teach Your Child Successfully G 4-8. Oh I do have one problem: I want the next book, YCTYCS Grade 8 upwards lol. But seriously, once you’ve embraced the philosophy behind her approach, you don’t need ‘the next book’. She doesn’t have a YCTYCS G 8 upwards but I have often wished she did. lol. Honestly, you’re on to a good thing by reading Ruth Beechick. She has had a great influence upon me and many others. She demystifies ‘education’ and really makes it all seem achievable.
From where are you sourcing her books? HSF and Chariot stock them.
Bless you,
Susan <><
Thanks for the SSSS links Susan. Never been to Judah’s Lion. Looks interesting. Did you know your my top commenter?
Thanks Susan, I?m so grateful for your input. You said ?She demystifies education and really makes it all seem achievable?. That?s exactly the impression I get from what I?ve read so far. I?m slowly coming out of the ?school model? and Beechick is helping alot! I?ve bought a couple of her books from Booktopia in Sydney, but if I can support a HS company I will. Thanks for letting me know!
